Pushkin House Events in November and early December 2007
It is our pleasure to bring you a full programme in November and early December 2007. Concerts include a recital by soprano Ksenia Jones and a performance by the Barbican Piano Trio. We are starting a new kind of free Community Events at Pushkin House with the Russian Citizenship workshop on 14 Nov 2007. Four great exhibitions feature the works of Mikhail Lattry, grandson of Aivazovsky; a joint exhibition of paintings by Natasha Arendt and Oleg Prokofiev; an exhibition by British watercolourist Janet Treloar (information coming soon) and a photographic-video exposй by Duncan Higgins of the Solovki Islands and their history (information coming soon). Our series of lectures on the short stories of Anton Chekhov continue and include readings by actors Ralph Fiennes and Michael Pennington. A new series of lectures on Russian architecture, organised by expert Clementine Cecil, opens on 19 December (information coming soon). Kino Kino! continue to present a wide range of Russian cinema.
