The Russian Summer Ball has now been running consecutively for eleven
years and continues to grow with great support from the Russian,
diplomatic and aristocratic circles encouraged each year by a new age
group of socialites from the film, fashion, music and art world. Many of
Russia’s hottest VIP’s will be attending this glamorous event, including
the guests of honour, T.H. Prince and Princess Dimitri of Russia.
On Saturday 1st July 2006, the 11th Annual Russian Summer Ball will be
held at the exclusive Cavalry and Guards Club in aid of The Romanov Fund

We welcome you to a bygone era that commences with a Princess Galitzine
Champagne and Ivan the Terrible Vodka reception, champagne and vodka flows
all night.
Sergej Larin, one of Russia’s greatest opera singers who has performed at
The Royal Opera House, La Scala and the New York Metropolitan, will
perform the Russian Imperial Anthem. He will be accompanied by the famous
Eleanora Bekova-Stravinsky of the Bekova Trio.
There will be an Auction, a Casino, a Raffle, and an Artists’ corner.
Ballroom dancing will be accompanied by music from The Orchestra of the
Coldstream Guards. Followed by Sabrage the ancient Hussar tradition of
opening champagne bottles with sabres this will be followed by the amazing
Russian Gypsy Band 'Cabaret Russe.’ Breakfast canapés will be served at
1am to help keep you dancing until 3.30am.
