On 23 September 2004, the British company British Nuclear Group (formerly known as BNFL) will host a seminar for the DTI Nuclear Safety Programme beneficiaries.
Within the framework of G8 Global Partnership this project covers Russia, the FSU republics and Eastern European countries. The British Government would make available up to $750 million to fund projects in pursuit of the Partnership's aims including destruction of nuclear weapons. The seminar will be attended by representatives from Russian nuclear industry, FSU republics and Eastern Europe.
The press-conference will take place on 23 September at 16:00 at the British Embassy: Smolenskaya Naberezhnay, 10.
